William Hartnell appears here before he became the first Doctor Who, but I watched it to see Shirley Eaton (I've seen 25 Shirley Eaton movies now).

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A decent heist thriller filmed in Southall and Chiswick, on the outskirts of London.
Shirley Eaton provides the glamour as the pretty thing in the car dealer's office who gets to boogie along to the jazzy tunes on the radio.
William Hartnell is the cool professional safecracker who warns agsinst making mistakes before tripping himself up.
Tom Drake (Judy Garland's "Boy Next Door") is the police inspector out to crack the bank robbery and snatch the gang and their takings, and maybe the pretty girl too.
Nicely grimy and well cast and written.

Thrifty British thriller with safecracker William Hartnell avoiding the cops. Low key excitement, but Shirley Eaton dances the Jitterbug. From the director of THE MAN WITHOUT A BODY (1957).

Watched on Amazon Prime.
I watched this because it was one of the shortest things on my watchlist.
As it began I wondered why I had added it to my watchlist in the first place.
Then BAM! The reason hit the screen.
Shirley Eaton.
This was a very dull "movie" but Shirley Eaton's babe-ness was enough for me to get by, however, not enough to ever watch it again hahaha.

Really only notable for soon-to-be Doctor Who William Hartnell and soon-to-be Goldfinger golden girl Shirley Eaton, this lightweight British heist flick is mostly inoffensive and marginally entertaining to begin with, but peters out to an underwhelming and silly finale. The saving grace is that it’s only an hour long, chalk it down as a mild diversion and nothing more.

Solid little crime flick. Everyone has the hots for Shirley Eaton, for good reason. The competition for Shirl and the thieves' struggles with police pressure both moved along briskly and held my interest throughout.

One of the two owners of a Car Business plans to embezzle the company's funds in this crime drama directed by Charles Saunders.
To be honest, this movie doesn’t really appeal on paper and the final product on screen exactly matches the result.
Tom Drake and William Hartnell both give OK performances in their respective roles as Miles and Tracy, the two owners of a Car Business, while Shirley Eaton is decent in her role as Sue and she suits her role well, stealing some scenes in the process.
Maurice Koufman is OK in his role as Don, the man who Sue loves, while Michael Golden is Inspector Matthews, the person investigating the case.
However, it’s unfortunate because although the…

This is an odd film - the cast don't gel at all. The story is the usual run-of-the-mill stuff as a gang carry out a robbery but soon discover, with the police on their tail, that one of their number isn't reliable so turn this case of robbery into one of murder. William Hartnell is the henchman who holds this together but Shirley Eaton and Tom Drake (presumably drafted in to bolster US box office attendance) have all the chemistry of yesterday's scrambled eggs. Decent enough production standards though the ending is a bit hammy.

Somehow skipped out of here saying."Men in black gloves are hot."
2/5, an enjoyable 1h Common Crime film.

With a short run time and simple plot, this 1958 small scale thriller's main appeal is the cast. With William Hartnell (Doctor Who) and Shirley Eaton (Bond: Goldfinger) both help elevate this mildly entertaining British crime drama.

Review by Josh Gillam ★½
A crime film starring Tom Drake, Shirley Eaton and William Hartnell, all about a robbery involving one of the partners in a car business. It’s so obviously a B Movie, complete with a fairly static camera, ropey acting and low production values, although Eaton shines in what is a fairly thankless role, and the use of the ridiculous name “Mr Uberman” as an alias by the criminals is unintentionally funny.
