Synopsis

The Western Lore

After Kansas Red rescues young Billy from a card-game shootout, the boy asks Red for help protecting his family from the outlaw Thorn, who’s just kidnapped Billy’s mother, Carol. As Red and Billy ride off to rescue Carol, they run into beautiful, tough-as-nails Leslie, who’s managed to escape Thorn’s men. The three race to stop Thorn’s wedding to Carol with guns a-blazing - but does she want to be rescued?

  This week on Michael Feifer’s tourist ghost-town reenactment theater we dress up a bunch of actors in old west costumes and they pretend to be some bad hombres who are tracking down some other bad hombres and eventually they all pretend to have themselves an old western showdown.

  So crack yourself open a can of baked beans and find a good viewing spot ‘cause the show starts every hour on the hour.

  I woke up from a nap and happened to have the Roku channel playing in the background. I literally thought I was still dreaming for a good 2 minutes because I could not believe what I was seeing. This may be the worst movie I have *ever* seen.

  Like every Direct-to-TV movie I’ve seen has at least attempted to be faithful to the time period it is set in to some degree. Like they couldn’t even get generic cowboy outfits right? And the girls in here had like blonde extensions that screamed 2024. There was also a scene where they used CGI snow (I think?) but it didn’t even look remotely like snow, more like lasers??I also woke up…

  One of the worst westerns I have ever seen. I do not blame the actors, as they do seem to be giving it there all. I blame the horrible script and the director for having shown no logic in their scenes. For example. Two of our heroes sneak up on two of the bad henchmen. Who do they cleverly sneak up on them? By walking across a field for about a quarter of a mile and walking up right behind them. Luckily these henchmen who are on security duty only look in one direction. A waste of time. Not even worthy of it's 3.2 IMDb rating.

  This movie sucks! It's soooo boring. My dudes! MY DUDES! Why would you make the same Western that's been made for 80 years at this point? It's so stupid that anyone green-lights things like that
