Behavior
Old Faith and Promise is a single-use Tool Abnormality that can alter the stats of an Agent's E.G.O weapon. An E.G.O weapon and a portion of the day's collected energy are required to use Old Faith and Promise. When used, the selected Agent will offer the Abnormality an orb. The lizards on Old Faith and Promise will then start glowing blue as the Abnormality swings back and forth.
- On a success, Old Faith and Promise will glow a bright gold. An orb of the same colour will be given to the Agent. The Agent will celebrate, and their weapon's base damage will be boosted.
- On a failure, Old Faith and Promise will turn pitch black, consuming the Agent's E.G.O weapon. The Agent will fall to the floor in despair for a few moments before leaving the containment unit.
Old Faith and Promise can boost an E.G.O weapon up to four times. There is a low chance of failure on the first use, but repeated uses of Old Faith and Promise are more likely to consume an E.G.O weapon. Weapons lost this way must be extracted from their original Abnormality again, whereas boosted weapons will lose their bonuses by the end of the day.
