Una Healy is the latest celebrity to jump on the LED face mask craze and she joins the likes of Kim Kardashian, Lily Collins, Kate Hudson, Halle Berry and endless more who use the at-home skin rejuvenating devices.
Paris Hilton would give Una's mask the thumbs up as both are using the same LED mask to keep their skin clear and looking more youthful.

At-home masks, tools and devices are a big beauty trend for 2025 as people look for a more natural anti-ageing route, or they can be used to extend the time between aesthetic treatments like Botox and fillers. But what is it these masks actually do?
Una Healy LED Face Mask
Una Healy posted the Omnilux Contour LED face mask on her stories as she settled down for a few minutes of R&R with the mask in place.
The mask uses red and near-infrared lights and is used to restore skin health and a youthful glow, but you may have seen other masks that have yellow lights, blue or even green. And sometimes, an LED face mask can have a selection of lights, so here is what they all work on inside your skin.
LED Therapy
LED stands for light-emitting diode and what these face masks are doing is using light to stimulate a natural healing response in the skin. Blue light affects the uppermost layer of skin and targets regulates oil production, killing acne-causing bacteria. Yellow light travels further and calms redness and irritation to boost the skin's resilience.
Red light goes deeper again and works on collagen and elastin production and reduce redness and green light targets pigmentation and dullness. Near-infrared light goes deepest into the skin and helps with ageing signs like wrinkles, firming and sagging. So you can see from Una Healy's LED mask, her skin is being treated for ageing signs using red and near-infrared. But how do you use the mask?
Treatment Schedule
Each brand will have its own set of usage guidelines, but a general rule of thumb is to start with three to five 10 minute sessions for the first few weeks. As results begin to appear (reduced redness and boosted glow and smoothness) you can then move into maintenance mode and reduce the number of sessions.
